Obesity is the second leading cause of death. Though bariatric surgery is recommended it is to taken as the last resort. Patients should know all about the process, its outcome and precautions to be taken. Surgery won't make any one slim, healthy eating habits and lifestyle modification will only show the results. To know more visit here Gastric bypass Corpus Christi

I am a retired doctor of Naturopathic medicine. I volunteer answering questions for free on different websites and I often get questions on how to eat after gastric bypass. I feel you made good points about protein and water. Those are the most important elements that are needed after bypass surgery. How to get the water in you is: sip small amounts continually throughout the day and night. Have a container of water always next to you. By sipping a little bit every few minutes you will easily be able to get in the necessary water. I recommend that you take purified water and mix it 50/50 with mineral water. This is going to give your body the minerals that it desperately needs in addition to taking a vitamin supplement. More people end up in the hospital after bypass surgery with dehydration problems. This is why I emphasize how to take in your water as well as getting in extra minerals.
